Norm Bald

Director Of Life Operations

Joining the company in 2020, Norm Bald, Director of Life Operations, combines his expert knowledge, industry experience and personal experience to lead his team helping financial professionals integrate life insurance solutions into their practice.

After years as a financial advisor, Norm transitioned to the other side of the industry, embarking on a 15-year career with one of the nation’s leading life insurance brokerage firms. During this time, he worked with financial professionals from major wirehouses and regional banks, while also overseeing more than 50 registered reps as the designated principal for the office’s broker/dealer. When the pandemic led to the brokerage firm’s closure following the owner’s retirement, Norm’s extensive expertise didn’t go unnoticed. Before retiring, the owner introduced Norm to his friend, Dennis Brown, owner of M&O Marketing. The very next Monday, Norm joined M&O Marketing as the Director of the Life Department.

Norm Bald’s passion for the industry goes far beyond money or success—it’s deeply personal. When he was 12, his father passed away unexpectedly, teaching him firsthand the importance of life insurance—and the devastating impact of not having it. With expertise spanning life insurance, securities, annuities, and banking products, Norm takes a comprehensive approach to helping clients, ensuring they make the best decisions for their unique needs. He understands how each product complements the other and views life insurance as a valuable solution, but not the only one. Over the past five years, Norm and his team have transformed M&O Marketing’s Life Division into a fully independent and operational Life Insurance Desk.

Norm’s greatest passion is his family. He and his wife Valentina have two sons, Blake and Austin. Outside of family time, Norm loves spending time outdoors, particularly up north in Michigan, and is an avid vegetable gardener, with a special love for growing pumpkins. Known for his harvest, he hosts an annual pumpkin carving party for his extended family the week before Halloween.

Bryan Hill

Life Sales Consultant

For more than half a decade, Bryan Hill has been a key contributor to the growth of M&O Marketing’s Life Sales Division, helping financial professionals discover well-rounded solutions that benefit both themselves and their clients.

Before joining M&O Marketing, Bryan’s career began in the fast-paced world of sports and entertainment. As a Michigan native, he spent over five years working with notable teams like the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Detroit Pistons after graduating from college. However, after getting married, Bryan realized the demands of the entertainment industry were not compatible with his desire to grow his family. It was then that he bet on himself by changing careers to work in the insurance industry, joining M&O Marketing in late 2018.

Until this point, the company had primarily operated as an annuity-focused firm. Bryan and his team worked diligently to establish and expand a fully independent Life Sales Desk. Today, Bryan assists dozens of financial professionals daily through blending his customer-facing sales expertise with in-depth product knowledge. His success is rooted in cultivating personal relationships with each professional. While Bryan values integrity and a strong work ethic, he recognizes that his success is driven by the compassion and genuine connections he forms with those he serves. Without that personal touch, grit alone wouldn’t be enough to carry him as far as he has come.

Making this career change allowed Bryan the freedom to build his family. Together, he and his wife Paige have two young boys, Nolan and Brooks. Living in Michigan, they enjoy being outdoors and taking advantage of the beautiful lakes and views surrounding their cottage in the Upper Peninsula.
